The kayak has an extruded UV-resistant lamination, manufactured
by General Electric, that protects from discoloring in the sun.
It is recommended the kayak be turned over (upside down) when
sitting on the beach or placed in the sun for long periods of
time. This will extend the life of the kayak and protect for yellowing
or hazing.
What is the recommended maintenance for the kayak?
It is suggested, after every use, or at best at the end of the
day, rinse off the kayaks with fresh water and mild detergent
such as Formula 409.
What type of water conditions is

width is 33.5", causing greater displacement. In addition,

well. It has been designed with a molded dual keel system. It
is easy to maneuver and move through the waters with little effort.
