Team Competition
The BolderBOULDER Team Competition provides a fun way for businesses, running clubs, families and other groups of competitive runners to compete for fame and prestige. Top teams in each division receive a team award and individuals on winning teams recieve a small gift. Individual team members are also eligible for regular age category awards.
It's easy to sign up - just follow these steps:
1. Organize your group (verifying division requirements below).
2. Designate a team captain.
3. Have each team member fill out an individual entry form.
4. Have the team captain fill out the team entry form.
5. Send or bring everything in together in the same envelope.
Team Registration closes Friday, May 26, 2006. All team members' individual forms must be submitted together with the team entry form and fees. The fee is $34 per person for the T-shirt package, or $26 per person without a T-shirt, plus a $20 team fee (one fee per team). There is a $5 charge, per person, for changes to a team entry (additions and deletions). This includes adding runners who have already registered individually. No changes after May 26.
Individual team members are placed into waves based on their predicted finish times. Team members can be placed in different waves; they don't have to stay together.
The team captain will receive a confirmation request the week after the race. Corrections must be submitted no later than Thursday, June 8th, 2006. Overall results for the team and division will be mailed or hand-delivered to the team captain on June 26.

At least one female required. Only 1 team per non-profit. All team members must be on staff with the non-profit or a board member. Challenge is open to 501(c)(3) organizations in Boulder County only. Part of the mission must be to serve the Boulder County community. Cannot be an athletic based non-profit. |
Team Scoring
Except for the Family division, the best times will be used to compute the Corporate and Non-Corporate team totals; lowest times will determine team placement within each division. In the Family division, the finish places of the top four family members, in their respective ages, will be added together and the top families with the lowest totals will receive an award.
