Child Care Assistance  
Childcare assistance may include help with childcare costs while you participate in certain qualified programs. Childcare assistance may be as simple as finding qualified, experienced childcare or may include partial or full payment for childcare expenses.

Eligibility Requirements
Childcare assistance and availability depends on the program provider and whether or not you are eligible for that program. It may also depend on available resources of the program and how significant your need for child care is. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to complete the Eligibility Form. This will help determine the service offerings for which you may qualify.

Clothing for Work  
You may be able to get help with clothing that is appropriate for work and/or training while you are participating in a qualified program. Services to help get clothing for work may be available to people who:
· Currently have a job or involved in training
· Have a job interview
· Need certain articles of clothing, shoes or equipment to accept or keep
 a job .

Eligibility Requirements:
Availability of clothing for work or training depends on the program provider and whether or not you are eligible for that program. It may also depend on available resources of the program and how significant your need for clothing is. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to complete the Eligibility Form. This will help determine the service offerings for which you may qualify.

This service is free and available only to people who meet the eligibility requirements.

Living Assistance  
As a full -time training program AFC provides help with finding free utility assistance and residential living for qualifying participants while enrolled in the program. Several sites are available in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Assistance may range from referral to affordable housing to financial assistance in securing safe, affordable housing or emergency assistance based on your economic situation.

Food Assistance 
As a full -time training program AFC provides free food assistance for training participants while enrolled in the program. Students are provided groceries to accommodate their families and free meals and snacks during their enrollment at the training center.

Transportation Assistance  
As a full -time training program AFC provides free transportation to and from training and work, for qualifying participants while enrolled in the program.
